Concise description:

• A new game achievement medal for tournament games

Specifics/Details:

• Awarded to members that defeated X unique opponents in Tournament games. Bronze=20, Silver=100, Gold=400.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

• A nice new medal which should be easy to implement
• Will encourage more players to join in with tournaments
• It would give credit to those who play and win alot of tournament games but don't win so many tournaments.

Those are the standard numbers for all medals, no reason to change them. The only two medals that don't have those numbers are Cross-Map (not 400 maps), and Ratings (nothing to do with the game itself). Tournament games are the vast minority, if this was implemented right now there would be a lot fewer people with tourney medals than standard/other popular medals. If anything, raise the others.

Amazing idea.

At first I thought is was the same as the other topic dealing with tournament medals but after reading it a second time, it really makes sense. This would really bring some new players to the tournaments. So many great players do not join tournament, and this could be the reason why.

I am fed up with declaring HighlanderAttack as the winner.

This idea should, no must be implemented as soon as possible.

and the clan medal is similar to the tournament medal, given our to those who have won an event. This medal would be similar to all the other game medals for defeating X number of unique opponents..

Then if it is simpler to include clan tournaments as well , let them be included. I am all for this idea.

Correct, this couldn't be done with the current system arrangement. There are several behind the scenes factors that make this idea more difficult than just designing and posting a new medal. At minimum, there must be a separate clan system as well as a way to weed out some official tournaments but not others (like removing battle royales but keeping entertainment team seasonal tournaments).

It still has merit, but I just needed to point out that with the current backstage set-up that only TDs have access to, there are more steps to take than a simple designing and installing of the medals. Furthermore, I don't know how receptive lack would be to essentially doubling-up the medals available for tournament players.
