We're heading into the 2nd half of the season, so it's time to make that playoff push -- especially for those teams buried in the standings such as my 2-5 Broncos :oops:

My regrets to all involved in this CC event, but I must absolve myself from this website. My marriage has collapsed and my addiction to sites such as this one has played a sizable factor in that. I post this message with a hole ripping through my heart. Please take care to make your relationships a priority, so that games such as this don't suck time away from those closest to you. Many can manage to keep those things in a healthy balance. I cannot. I failed in attempts previous to this, and now have decided to leave the site (and others) permanently, although I regret I may be too late to repair the damage done to my marriage.

Sorry to hear that Flex, hopefully things get better. You have always been my favorite tourney maker here.

That said, will anyone rescue this one? Doesn't seem like too much work, but I know I can't do it.

This tournament is now labeled "Needing Rescue". If it is not rescued within a week it will be considered abandoned.

I know we all are shocked and very sympathetic towards flex; a wonderful TO. I hope that the best way of supporting him in this difficult time for him is to try and keep his tournaments going as best we can. I'll certainly try my best, though I may need your advice and support if I have any difficulties interpreting flex's complex and detailed tournaments. Also, as a UK citizen, I know the rules of proper football, so you may need to help me out from time to time!.

Please note that I won't be keeping the same format as flex; just wins; loses; ties; points for; points against and percentage. Please advise me if I need to keep the Division and Conference results for any reason?

Thanks for the nice pm's guys; as I said above, I'll do my best to keep this going, but I'll not be up to doing it in the fantastic way that flex did it.

Anyway, Pixar has taken flex's place and I have another possible replacement for vykingsfan who is dropping out, and then I'll get the next round of games out. All ready to go apart from the one vacancy, and if I don't fill in soon I'll get all remaininggames out anyway.

The Packers come through with a close 24-22 win against the Saints in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Reached for comment after the game, Coach Dowian2 said "This was a good win for our team, but we still have more football to play. The Saints are a heck of a team and I'm glad to be getting out of here with a win." The Packers will host the winner of the game between the Eagles and the two-time defending Super Bowl Champion Rams next Sunday in the NFC Championship game.
