but he is rather a cool person. I think his methods of debate are fairly known and as BBS pointed out in the past, the community itself takes care of this.
90 days is a lot, it'll be good if we were informed exactly WHY he was banned. Why is this info a secret? I think it concerns all of us, since punishments don't seem to be always the same for the same behavior.
For instance, I sent pimpdave 3 personal messages with rather funny pictures alone, no words, the pictures were explicit and all but if you know me you know I was kidding to some degree: one was of a guy with a small penis and 2 or 3 girls laughing at him.. another was a bloody heart on a plate next to a knife and the third was a poster for a summer fat camp. I got banned, a month if I recall correctly.
Funkyterrance sent me 3 pms, the 3 of them with nasty comments, I did not respond to any of them and when the 3rd arrived I thought it'll be great to finally have him banned. Since I was banned for 3 pms, he was going to get banned for his agressive pms. Well, he wasn't banned.
Hey duderino, you forgot to mention the death threats you were sending me. And all I did was ask the mods if it was okay for me to send everyone on CC death threats too, since I don't mind you sending them. Then they banned you.

Honestly the only death threat I recall is the picture with the heart and the knife, if you can call it that. There were no words added. Refresh my memory please. But seriously, did you honestly think I was threatening to take your life? Or was more of.. hey, "I can use this to have him banned" moment?
But think about how much fun that would be! Every new member that joins CC gets a message from their friendly, neighborhood pimpdave telling them he'd like to smear their brains on the wall. It's all in good fun, what, can't take a joke?

It'll probably be over something stupid though. I suspect it's that they needed a sacrificial lamb for Night Strike's behavior. That's how it seems to go. For some high-profile posters, they tend to get banned when really it should have been Night Strike's turn in the penalty box.
So they sacrifice us for his sins.

There better not be any reduction in ban time... nobody else gets that, especially nobody else banned for doing whatever it was Phatscotty was banned for.
All of the rest of us had to do our time.
