That will probably be on the BBC and PBS getting it next year.

I don't watch much tv. I had heard that there was going to be a show about Sherlock Holmes and that got me interested. I didn't know Sherlock existed at the time.
There are very few primetime shows that I will sit through. Seinfeld, Malcom in the Middle, The Middle. I think that is it. I just finished all the recent Doctor Who's available on Netflix. I am now watching the old ones.

Aye- there's been a long delay- both of the leads went off to do the Hobbit movies.

Any Netflix streaming recommendations? I've seen breaking bad, mad men, sons of anarchy. Ill give Sherlock a shot. Anything else that I'm missing that I should see?

Not sure what's on Netflix, but Rev and Misfits are worth a look on the Brit side.

I really like the Hulu miniseries called "The Booth At The End". Probably my favorite show at the moment. Which is kind of unfortunate, as each season is 5 episodes and they put out a season every two years.

I know I recommended this earlier in the thread, but I highly recommend The Borgias. Great show. Season 3 is coming out sometime soon. Just finished up season 2 on On Demand tonight.

Also, another Showtime show that is pretty badass is Shameless. Funny as hell.

I suggest giving the latest iteration of Doctor Who a shot.

The last episode of Justified was arguably the best episode Ive ever seen on TV. The combination of the action and the dialogue was almost too much, and yet, so masterfully pulled off, it was believable....

There's always what my circle of friends refers to the Netflix staples package (including Doctor Who):

Arrested Development
Futurama
Doctor Who
Parks and Recreation
The Office

and beyond that, I've come to enjoy the following on Netflix:

Medium
Bob's Burgers
Memento (movie)
Sons of Anarchy
United States of Tara
Monk

and now I'm blank!

Have you seen the 2004 version of Battlestar Galactica? I'd recommend that.

Newsroom has been great. Just finishing of the first season now.
Touched was disappointed in. Why does every American series now seem to have a conspiracy in it.
Walking Dead, best thing on TV at the moment.
Dexter, was the best, one more season. Lets hope it goes out on a high.

The IT Crowd. See the English version before the American remake hits tv this year. Awesome show, if you like to laugh.

I'm watching season 3 for free right now on project tv. I would have waited for the DVDs, but everyone is spoiling the show for me by talking about it.

To many damn spoilers here. We need a spoilers button so players stop ruining it. But the last one was fantastic.

Ha, I'd pretty much completely forgotten about that series. Pretty enjoyable.

Since we're mentioning stuff that probably no one is actually gonna watch: Yes, Minister

I'd never even heard of it till about a year ago when I spotted the series while browsing at the library and noticed there were some pretty big names in it. I took it out and I now think it's probably my favorite series of all time.

I'm hoping to rewatch it soon as well. So many great scenes. Of the top of my head:

The only thing that bugged me a little was the portrayal of Augustus. But hey, maybe it's accurate, who knows.

Interesting...
Curious what you didn't like about it? Was it the actor or the character?
I felt the character genuinely likeable which doesn't seem to contradict historical lore. However, as you say, who knows what he was really like.
I am honestly hard pressed to find anything about the series that I didn't like and you know me...
I suppose it had the feel of a theater performance(exaggerated personae) and I found myself embracing this aspect but I realize this is off-putting to some. Maybe this is what bothered you? Like, I'm sure the "real" Augustus wasn't exactly like the character in Claudius because it's been dramatized but maybe his "essence" is accurate.
