Coming to a particular conclusion because it makes you feel better, even though it defies logic, isn't very wise.

Take the wave of progressive teaching practices that has taken hold in a lot of places:

Little Johnny has a math test. He got 88% of the questions wrong, but he tried REAL hard, so he should deserve a passing grade....


This defies both logic & reason, but it makes Little Johnny feel good.
It is also very wrong.

i disagree clearly, the farther you are away from my personal political views the more you rate on the extremist scale...im not sure why i everyone didnt immediatly understand that... :wink:

3. I answered the question.
4. I don't have to argue (notice correct spelling) against socialism, it speaks for itself as it's failed every time its been attempted. Even China has "resorted" to capitalism in order to be successful in the world market.

Absolutely, but I'm not going to let anyone call me a fascist and just leave it at that.
I also voiced an opinion on socialism, a political viewpoint, so I believe it is consistent with the topic.
If its confusing to you, then perhaps you should stick to Flame Wars....

Both are relevant to the thread, fascism more so. Although Fascism is rightfully something of a loaded term, it technically refers to a concentration of power in the state, as opposed to the individual; this is the top-down part. And economics is the left-right axis, although I'm not sure if the furthest left thing is socialism, or if it exists off the axis.
