It's called targeted marketing, can be very effective. You don't want to show up for people looking for "Say yes to the dress"!frankiebee wrote:Razorvich wrote:When I get home and start up my pc, I always check the local TV guide to see what I can have on in the background while I'm playing CC.

Yeah, not so nice at all. You get that advertisement via cookies because your browser remembers your interests and shit. Because you've googled and visited sites that involves certain keywords like '"Risk'' ''Free Online play'' and bla bla you get this advertisement. From all people who see it probabbaly 90% is allready a member of CC.
Yes, all nice and well. I was at school working on a paper and browsing the web for like 4 hours, after I visited CC I got advertisement for CC on other sites. You don't want to show up for people looking for '"Say yes to the dress'' but targetting people who allready visiting CC might not be the best strategy either...Frito Bandito wrote:It's called targeted marketing, can be very effective. What's odd is that we have so many creative players on this website and then this advertizement is made of merely some lines of text on a white background?Frito Bandito wrote:It's called targeted marketing, can be very effective.
