My housemate got a kitten today and even though she wants to name it "Klaus" I'm going to keep calling it Leftenant Kitty.

He ripped up the corner of the rug. It was too hot for him to move from that spot all day.

Most of the scabs are gone now, but he's missing a big patch of fur on his shoulder blades and a little under his left eye. But most importantly, the browning in the whites of his eyes is leaving, and he can see again. You can see how much his eyes have cleared up.


My sister came over last weekend and brought a friend. They read this thread, laughed, then wrote a song for "FORMULA 1 RACE CAT, meow." and made a little helmet out of a beer box.
Naming him has proven to be a real challenge. He doesn't seem to have much personality, because he's been so ill. Hopefully this week he'll be able to recover enough that he's ready to play again.

Yeah he walks. And he bits your head in the middle of the night.

For all the time that I've had him though, he has refused to meow once.
His eyes are fine now, but I can't tell about his hearing. I've been testing him and he seems oblivious to the world. I accidentally dropped a chair right behind him, and he didn't react at all. It was pretty loud.
