Actually... I remember this from my Physics class... a cat is more likely to survive a long fall than a short one. On a short fall it will tense up, become more aerodynamic, and fall quickly. On a long fall, it relaxes, spreads out, and acts as a natural parachute.

There are many confirmed stories of cats surviving falls from 20th story windows and such.

BBS is fluent in every language there ever was. It's just too bad he never graces us by demonstrating it. I for one would love to have a conversation in Swedish with him. We could talk about vodka and IKEA, and he could share with me his admiration for my country and I would nod politely and thank him, but not return the favor. It would be good times.
