It is currently hidden on the old Instructions page accessed via the new The Game tab

People were talking about the new mapboard and i was wtf as it is not easily spotted
If we are not ashamed proud of our maps, put them out on display like the Scoreboard, Clans, Forum & Tournaments are
If more info or stats are going to be added then all the more reason to put it where it'll be seen, and used
The things that make this site great our at the top of every page. We have the best Tournament scene of any risk-like site, the best Clan scene, the best Forum. Our maps kickass too

I already screamed for this and a few other improvements. This is a must have button. Considering the clan button goes nowhere the map board is by far a better thing.

Changed it slightly. Tournaments are better suited next to forums. I would argue maps should be after forums but as the map board does not do much and does not highlight the works in progress, it goes after tournys. Clans is last as it is a waste of space but highlights the clan world.

Consider that will be very close to scoreboard, i think that place should be close to scoreboard.

That is what the suggestion is, but there is no promise when or if any of those additions would be made.
Yes i agree with this. I think we have an overall great collection of maps/concepts/designs and these should be easily accessed at the top of each page in the main menu... perhaps in between Scoreboard and Tournaments. Maps are afterall what players come to the site to play.

You can already access the Mapboard via the top of the screen by clicking on "The Game." Not everything that every person uses is able to fit at the top of the screen. I'm not sure if 2 clicks is too far away that we need to move it to one click.
There's a lot more potential for the mapboard, so maybe when/if it starts to reach that potential, it would be appropriate to move it. But to me, it doesn't seem like that time is now.

i'm aware it can be accessed but why is it hidden? it should be front and centre.
To me, this is an obvious call. Not just because of the utility of the maps button -- but because the mapmakers in the Foundry put so much effort and time into their creations, and it's a shame that we don't showcase it as much as we can. I'm going to make an executive decision on this one; SUBMITTED.

I thought koontz's suggestion was reasonable, and mine is just a copy of his. Maps and Clans should both be on the end since they are purely informational at this stage.

Scoreboard and Maps should be together as they are search-able data. Tournaments and Clans should be together as they are about us competing. Forums is about chatting/discussing and goes on the end.
There are lots of possible permutations of this arrangement that have good reasons for them. I don't think your reasoning is any better or worse than koontz's, since it's mostly subjective. I'll let bigWham decide for himself.

I remember seeing this before in the clan forum too...can't remember specifics.
