Culinary arts.

Is Boffin the same as slagging? Because it was in my high school. Used in a sentence. "You can't be serious, he's Boffin her?"
No, though I have heard "to boff" in the context in the US - no, "boffin" is a noun - a scientist, a backroom egghead.

Math, Phys Ed, Computer Science.

All are relatively lenient and the middle one would get me in good shape.

nothing's wrong with boffin! i wish i got to say it in the US, but most people don't know what it means.

i find british english oddly entertaining for some reason, especially the accent.

I know a person who works part time that teaches math ... that's definitely a hard course to teach.

My original degree is in physics, so the natural sciences would be best for me. But that's not too easy either. Especially when state mandates require students who really don't want to be in the class, you have to be creative to keep the attention of the kids who don't want to be there and the kids who do more or less at the same time. I've heard stories from chemistry teachers on their attempts to do just that.

They are legion. The accent of Boston is different from the (now almost extinct) accent of the Bonics of Long Island, and in turn is different from the accent of Brooklyn, which in turn is different from the accent of the Bronx (although if you combine the two you get the accent of Bugs Bunny), which is turn is different from the accent of New Jersey and so forth.

just because there is more than one english accent in america doesn't mean that american english, as a concept, doesn't exist. same for british english.

weird how your guys' desire to prove me wrong leads to the creation of some kind of weird linguistic relativism.

*heterogeneity. "American english accent" is a holistic/homogenous concept.

These two concepts don't lend support to the relativism harped upon by some philosophers.

Ok, you're actually Dave Navarro, and you think john9blue would look excellent with a portrait of Keith Primeau tattooed on his back.

Does that work?

Hey j9b. In between fucking Carmen Electra (yes, we're still banging even though we got divorced), I want to let you know that you're kind of full of shit. Last year, when you were getting your Keith Primeau (scoring the goal against the Penguins in the 6-OT game like 10 years ago) tattoo on your ass, you told me that you thought American English wasn't an appropriate term.
