Font appearance

Post by General Brewsie »

How can I normalize the font in CC, now that I have reinstalled CC on my my newly formatted computer? The font is now smaller, has an unusual (for me) shape and even a little shadow or outline, making it very difficult to read.

Hmmm not sure. Hitting Ctrl+0 at the same time resets the zoom size of the browser window. I don't think that will fix your problem but may be worth a shot if the font is just a size issue?

Nope, that didn't affect it at all. Thanks for the courtesy of the effort!

That was a zero not an O if it wasn't clear in my first post.

It was clear, but I tried an "O" and an "o," too. No luck. I guess it'll have to be the tech that maintains my computers who solves this one, if anyone can.

if zoom is the only issue you anc also hold down the CTRL button and use the scroll wheel to adjust the zoom

also I don't know if adjusting your default font in your broweer will help any with it but you can try it... normally under the Options Menu (maybe File... Options)
10:16:35 ‹Ace Rimmer› haven't looked at work in ages
10:42:43 ‹Sackett58› fine, I'll take my panties elsewhere

That seemed like a good idea, but when I began trying to check that out I remembered that this screwy font is occuring everywhere on all my apps, even in the icon labels on the desktop. There's got to be a trick in the basic Windows XP settings, I would think.

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! That did it. My equipment is all Spanish, so the vocabulary's differeent, but it was not hard at all to find what the guidance refers to. Now I can see the world as it is again. Thank you, Jippd. If we ever play a game as opponents I may let you win the first game!!
