Deleting the spamalot thread was wrong, but i find it ironic that one of the main people spamming up the forums and giving spamalot a bad rep, is the one starting this thread. All you do is prove the antispamalot members' points, and so far have only made the situation worse. Maybe we could take a cheesewanker from each side (i.e. you and greatpretender) and sacrifice them to the dice gods.

Um, don't know about anyone else, but I come to this site to play a risk-based world domination game... Surely there are other places on the internet where you can spam?

I would rather the resources of the site be directed to maintaining and improving gameplay, rather than being used up to maintain the forums. Whether spamalot is here or gone is of no consequence to me, but I am happy with the way this site is run, if you don't like the forum policy then I suggest you enjoy the game and post elsewhere.

Just my two cents...

That's what I have been saying too - while I do not support AK's decision, none of us joined CC so that we could spam the forums. We all came to play the game we love.

Oh do shut up. Go read the thread on the matter (Lack I have a letter for you; now locked).
It's been more than adequately explained that:
1. This is not about deleting spam threads; it's about capricious moderator actions. It's a complaint about AK acting in a discriminatory matter.
2. Furthermore, it has been conceded by many that Spamalot was not 'all spam', and that the spam contained there was not 'just spam'.
3. It's has also been noted on multiple occasssions that the benefits of a Spamalot thread outweighed the drawbacks of any spam contained therein.

So sorry Max. You just said something dumb. Go do your homework, there's really nothing more to be said about this subject until we get a comment from Lack, Andy or AK.
It's high time we stopped posting about the issue ad infinitum; but I refuse to just sit about and listen to people make ignorant posts insulting a group of which I am a member.
