Slightly inapplicable, since I'm in Canada, but I came up most similar to Detroit, Buffalo, and Rochester. Not surprising that two of them are border cities and the the third is not far from the border.

Honolulu (because of firefly) and Boston, Worcester because of sunshower. I don't really use sunshower but it seemed the most logical.

I did it a second time and got Detroit for saying pop instead of soft drink. And Boise for switching drinking fountain and water fountain.

In western Pennsylvania they said pop, in eastern North Carolina they said coke (and automatically gave you a Sun Drop) and in Texas they just say Beer.
