just out of my hat, but not sure... that semi finals game vs barcelona with drogba getting super pissed off chelsea lost... but maybe he was coaching inter that season?
Chelsea and city (in spite of the loss) are definitely not the teams of the early season.do you remember how criticized they were?

Yeah, that was the game I was thinking of. I think they did lose at home to Barca, but Mourinho is unbeaten at home in the PL.
Kind of. I've been concentrating on all the mad crap at Leeds most of the season, or trying to at least.
Penalty kick not awarded, red card not shown, the play continues, Barza scores 1-0, the players are angry, one gets the red card. Game over. Instead of 0-1 with 1 player less, 1-0 with 1 player more.
Awful, awful performance. Do not deserve a trophy after that performance. At least we didn't let Suarez score. And at least City dropped points. f*ck this shit.

It's been tried and failed before but this is Beckham so it'll probably work.
A football team in miami, or an ex footballer starting a club you mean?
PSG and Monaco tied last night, so it's still a 5 points league. Berbatov? why would they take this guy seriously, even for 6 month on a loan.... Monaco has a history of taking scorers when they are total history: Vieri, Di Vaio, Bierhoff, Gudjhonsen, Kholler... probably a lot more if i think about it, but it's the typical socrers that had great international names and went to monaco just for a good retirement and go to the casino.

just heard something in french radio program about him. It's an italian guy who was president of Calgari right? They were talking about him and how bad he did things in Calgari. And that he said he is leaving his fiat 500 to drive a ferrari, leeds utd lol. I would worry. He has a terrible reputation.
ok funny story: I guess you guys know M'baye Niang, 19yo the forward of Milan, he got lended to Montpellier this winter. Not only he looks like Ballotelli, but he does the same bullshit. Last week he crashed his ferrari that he doesn't know how to drive and he doesn't even have a licence. He's up for some real big trouble this time, since he did it a couple of times in Milan. I think super mario is all he aspires to be.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho labels Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger 'a specialist in failure'
Jose Mourinho ramped up hostilities with Arsene Wenger in spectacular fashion today, accusing the Arsenal manager of being a āspecialist in failureā.
Mourinho made the remarks after Wenger had dismissed the Chelsea managerās belief that his side were not yet ready to win the Premier League title. The Arsenal manager said earlier today that managers, like Mourinho, who wrote off their own teamās chances, had a āfear to failā
Asked about that at his weekly press conference at the clubās Cobham training ground, Mourinho said: āHe [Wenger] is a specialist in failure. I'm not. So if supposing he's right and I'm afraid of failure, it's because I don't fail many times. So maybe he's right. I'm not used to failing. But the reality is he's a specialist because, eight years without a piece of silverware, that's failure. If I did that in Chelsea I'd leave and not come back.ā
Asked whether he had rattled Wenger, Mourinho said: āNo. I just say that if Mr Abramovich gives me eight years to prepare a team, which I don't want ā I just want my four years of contract and, after that, to deserve or not deserve the next contract ā but in eight years you have to build so much, so much, so much. I don't want eight years. I just want four. I want the next one to say we are candidates.ā
lol! I got to say I've always loved the mourinho shows. he's just too damn funny in my opinion, he takes huge risks in what he says and puts a lot of pressure on himself. Love his trash talking!

English football missed him, looking forward to seeing him taking a Portugal to the world cup in 8-16 years. Then he really could play some mind games... people might not like it but he's right about Arsenal, which other 'top' club would go 8 years withing winning anything and not sacking their manager. At least in previous years they had the excuse of not spending any money, not this year though. Think winter is getting to Ozil, a few years in the Madrid heat would do that to you. And they wonder why Beckham never returned to England...
To be fair with wenger... What did the board ask him? Make profits and not put the money to get the title? Cause if it s the case he did perfect. Buy cheap young players, once they are top notch sell them expensively and qualify every single year for the champion s league to earn more money, be more attractive for players and stay in the front line of the mediatic circus. Only problem with this is that it s not what fans sign for, and none of these young players consider staying once they get poked by a bigger club. This club lacks so much of ambition on the pitch..

I think Arsenal were among the giants and massive clubs 10 years ago. Players' wages and prices were relatively reasonable until Roman Abramovich spoiled the Gunners fun when he decided to insanely invest his oil money in the game. However, Wenger is to be blamed for his lack of adaptability to the new situation of football world. If you were a superstar, why should you waste and sacrifice your talent to help the board generate big money? IMO, you'd rather find an ambitious club where you can make personal glory during your too short career.

You can thank me for bringing Pirlo back, I flooded him in FB with football chatter so I guess he decided to come back to the thread.
If he dares to disappear again, count on me to flood him again.
