European france is 640 000 square KM; while all it's territories outside of europe totalize 550 000 square KM. France has the second largest maritime territory in the world after the US.
The metropolitan population is 66,6 millions while the outer european population on its territories is only 2,7 millions though.

Actually france has built 2 helicopter carriers for russia that were ordered in 2011. They are now ready but france is in a diplomatic shit... They say they won t deliver the boats now given the geopolitical context of 2014, but they don t really want to sit on the 1,2 billion € russia is supposed to pay for them. Russia is now threatening france not to pay the full contracts if they don t deliver the boats in the next month. France would really get in trouble with all the good guys (EU+USA).
I think we should just sell them to Australia so they take care of those russian tugboats terrorizing locals.
