For now, the only way is to join the Entertainment Team (that's me, and most of Team CC). There may be a way in the future for community tournaments to implement some stuff, but it's not a high priority right now.

From a community events perspective, this year has been a powerhouse. Automation has really opened the floodgates. This December's challenge is a look back at what was new in 2014. We had the monthly challenges boom (and bust); many large-scale site-wide events; still new game features and UI.

I choose to look back on 2014 not as the year the decline continued. Rather, I look back at it as the year CC turned a new leaf.



The Challenge
We're giving everyone on CC a (virtual) passport, and we challenge each of you to get as many stamps as you possibly can.
How do you get stamps, you ask?
By doing a variety of things but mostly winning games.

Nota Bene: If more than one game condition is met, 1 random stamp is assigned from the possible stamps
Bot games and tournament games are not allowed

There are 32 stamps in total, divided into 8 categories:

A:Events - win 1 game on each map or setting to get the stamp for that map or setting:

1.The Great War - played on any Great War token map (stamp07)
2. Holiday Events - Christmas map (stamp20)
3. Demon Speed - win a Speed game (stamp23)
4. World Cup Madness - any World Cup Map (stamp24)

B: Beta Maps:

32. Random Chance - These stamps are inserted into the normal rotation where Electric Green Stars would normally be (stamp32)



Prizes
10 stamps = GA Medal
20 stamps = GA Medal + Challenge Medal
30 stamps = GA Medal + Challenge Medal + 1 Blue Star

Special Prizes
First to 32 stamps = 1 Red Star + 1000 credits
Next 3 to 32 stamps (or top 3 with tiebreaker determined by date and time achieved) = Green Star + 500 credits
Next 10 to 30 stamps = 500 credits



Notes

• Games must start between CC Time: 2014-12-02 00:00:00 and CC Time: 2015-01-01 00:00:00 to be considered for the Challenge.
• Each stamp will only be counted ONCE per player. i.e. you can have 100 stamp01s, but the score for that stamp will still only be 1.
• If a team game meets the criteria for any stamp, each member of the winning team will receive that stamp.
• Data from all games that have finished by Jan. 1 will be collected on Jan. 1. After that, games will no longer count.
• Stamps not awarded from games may have some delay, as they are handed out by TeamCC volunteers.
• Prizes will be awarded in the first week of January.
• Any issues will be solved by me, DoomYoshi and my word is final.

**Autotournaments which start in December will give stamps as part of the prizing.
Community tournaments which start in December will be given stamps.

The easiest way to join a guide game is to keep an eye on global chat. When a guide game is up, a message pops up that says something like "admin: Game Guide requested, Join/View". I was going to copy an example to show you, but there hasn't been one in several hours. They mostly happen during the daylight hours.

Anyway, just look at global chat regularly for a few days and you'll see one eventually. When you see one, don't hesitate -- click "join" right away or someone else will snap it up.
