Unfortunately, the saxitoxin method of deliberate obfuscation education doesn't help clear up issues.
Maldives is one of the most depressing countries. They finally get political parties and free elections, but it's a first past the post system. For now, they have an ideal FPTP (nice representation from a variety of parties), being only a few elections old. However, within my lifetime it is going to switch to a 2- or 3-party system (as all FPTP systems do). It's kind of like watching 4-year olds being locked in a room and raped slowly. You would have to pretty sick to find something good there.

Who cares about electoral systems when you're eating spicy fish balls and drinking tea in a wooden hut on a tropical beach?
