I was not allowed to investigate on N0 and to me that's pretty strong (albeit circumstantial) evidence that a killing shot was not possible then. Why would I not get a chance to investigate someone if there were shots to be fired?

Day four seemed to drag whilst ending early. Town gathered with huddled voices and betting slips in their hands. William Hill offered short odds on Wing in the fifth, and this deal was snapped up with glee. Unfortunately, it was a mistake as he fell on the first hedge with not a jump to his name.

Streaker sent us a PM saying he had a car accident and that he and his girlfriend were hurt and are recovering now. So he won't have time for mafia.

Me on the other hand had a rough last 3-4 days with work (and birthdays) and whenever I thought I'll do the VC or write a scene something else popped up.

The Town Square had been virtually silent, apart from IB's quiet discussion with the executioner on the finer points of tying a hangman's knot, but now was filled with the buzz of conversation as everyone anticipated Wing's imminent demise and the information it would provide.

"He is a Mod now!" someone whispered. They all looked at each other, stunned. This had been the biggest surprise of all. But then a hush fell upon them, as they realized that yet another Townie was missing from their ranks.
