People leave CC all the time. All told, 11 players had to be replaced to start this round. That is not a large number. I'm sure I had to replace over 100 people when I did the Pentathlon, and that tourney lasted 10 months.

I could do that, but I'm not sure I like it - because then not everyone gets the chance to start a round.
Though maybe they don't have to - it could just be that the player who solves the puzzle starts the next round.

Except you can't you tell the difference between someone who's trying to milk every $ out of it and someone who legitimately doesn't know the solution and doesn't want to waste money buying vowels.
Swifte wrote:My personal favorite: If the guesser gets a letter right, re-spin your random wheel and they can guess again without playing another game. Only play another game when the person in control of the wheel hits bankrupt or guesses wrong.
Again, I could do that, but I'm not sure I like it - mostly because the outcome of the game has a sizable impact on where the wheel lands - you're not going to land on Bankrupt if you win your game, and you're not going to hit the Jackpot if you're the first player eliminated.

Lowering the round limit seems fair - it was arbitrary from the beginning - but I don't want to discriminate against players who like trench.
So, changes I'm considering:
3 puzzles per round, instead of 4 - puzzle solver starts next round.
Only 1 game per player's turn - decision to spin wheel after correct guess yields completely random $ amount.
Lowering round limit from 30 to 20.
Merging final 2 rounds into single round.
That sound OK?
