Hello all,
This is a quick discussion I had with wizz regarding some possible issues while playing CQP on other devices than a computer (see below).
IcePack already noticed that the board size is maybe too big. I'll try to make it smaller for next CQP, but nothing I can do on this actual CQP (it's a pretty huge work in middle of the game).

Now I'd like to make sure it's working well, at least on Pads.
For phones, I think the next CQP will show a warning about the possible issues.
I presume the board and log (even smaller), will be to hard to see on a phone.

Can you please let me know, if you play on other devices than a computer, if everything works well for you.

NORMALLY YOU SHOULD SEE THAT WHEN OPENING THE GOOGLESHEET!
Note that all PAWNS are placed into the square they belong regarding the game log and all pawn icons, house icons, and battle icons are also into the proper square.

I play on iPad, I’m wondering if it causing me navigation problems. I have just been looking through the thread for 20 mins but I can’t find the actual playing board.
Is it possible for you to post a link to the actual board on my wall that I can keep so I can see the board quickly when I need to make a decision.

If you don't mind you'll be the CQP tester on Ipad, because I want everybody can play CQP correctly, whatever the device used.
It should only take 5 minutes of your time to make sure everything works properly.

STEP 1
So normally, when I send you the link on your wall, you have to click on it. It brings you directly to the first post into the tournament thread. right?
Here you normally found this sentence, wich is a link to the board & log :

STEP 2
Once you have clicked on this new link, you should be on the game board and log. right? It's now a googlesheet hosted outside ConquerClub site.
Now you can normally see the question asked to you on top + the link (just below the question) to post your answer (sometimes it's thread, sometimes it's my wall for a pm) right?
You just have to read and answer the question on the link given.

STEP 3
If you need more infos and check about credits earned or lost, or what other teams have played before your move, you have the log.
The log is on the right (of the board) and for many moves, there is also a clickable link to tell you more about the move.
as an example, check your move 4-4 :
4-4 01-22 05:13 WIDOWMAKERS 2-1 R Africa CQP 4-4 starts CHESIRE CATS End? https://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=18002157 ON
If you click on the link given, and because it's a game, it should bring you into the proper game into CC.

Another example during your round 2-4 : You've drawn a card, the link given will bring you to the proper post into the tournament thread, telling the card you received.

Sometimes, if a question is asked to all teams (for an auction sales, or a challenge, wich are open to all), the link brings you also to the proper post.
Sometimes, it's a link to explain a new rule into Conqueropoly, because the last move open the game into a new gameplay.
So you normally don't have to brownse the thread for hours.


So can you confirm me that those 3 steps work fine for you on Ipad?
If so, you're able, with only a few click, to see all moves, the board, and play better than ever!

Trying from my iPad and all th epawn are off set, I'm abale to see the square box object around each image/pawn and all everywhere but on the map, the rest of the board is very busy to follow, unless from a computer the link is not really friendly and explicit

I liked better with the board in the OP (perhaps lighlty smaller) and the game log uner a spoiler...

DEJENRE - I know this doesn't exactly address the issue you raised. I play on a computer, a Mac Book Pro, and even on that the map is too large until I adjust it. But other than that, I don't have issues. bobbythomson

First of all, thank you all for answering and trying to sort this out. I want this event enjoyable for all, including the TO (myself).
I just realized that some of you have still problems to play correctly this tournament.
Mostly because devices issues....

All works properly, all pawns and miniature pawns, hotel and battle are placed where they belong. Thanks IcePack ! He just confirmed me on my wall.

Same kind of problem than on IPAD, miniatures are well placed, but PAWNS are not visible at all!

I don't know why, but depending the device, sometimes the board sheet is shown first when you open the Googlesheet doc, sometimes it shows another sheet first....


First conclusion :
Problems are only because of images, not about the log and their associated links.
About running the tournament, it's really long, boring, fastidious, to update the game log into the thread (coding is awfull on CC). It takes me 10 min for each of your move.
On the googlesheet, I can set colors, links, or anything I want pretty easily into the log.
But it's not that boring to post the board image each round.

What could be done? :
From now, when walling you, I gonna give directly the googlesheet link instead of the tournament thread link!
+ I gonna make some changes into the googlesheet document

• 1/I gonna put all sheets together so we're sure everybody go on the same view when opening the document!
  2/I gonna switch the board on the right side, and the log will be on the left side. I keep on the top left corner : Question asked + where to post (Clickable tournament link).
  So the question asked is the first thing we see when we open the googlesheet, then the link back to the tournament thread (to answer), then the log (to see the previous moves and credit count + have all clickable links to the thread = cards, auctions, challenges.....), then the board (for whom is able to see it properly).

If you can see the board image correctly with all pawns and miniatures where they belong (because you're playing on Iphone or Comp.), just click the link to tournament thread (on top) and post your answer.
If you're playing on another device, where images are not shown correctly, just click on the same link, and I'll make sure to post every round a screenshot of the board.

It should work for all!

I gonna ask the teams who have not given their issues there, and we'll take a decision to run it properly for all!
Right now, it can be considered like unfair issues, because some teams don't see all like they should!
Tournament is now set on PAUSE! until we found a suitable solution.
Of course, all CC games keep playing like they should!

Damn, all text are size 8 or 9 and about the image it's because the one next to the log is a screenshot only, not the "playable board".
But it shouldn't be that big right now, and normally you don't have to scroll a lot....

Also on the far right are TO TOOLS but I gonna remove it soon, to make the whole document smaller.
I know play all moves on the virtual board on my comp, then I just past the screen shot into this googlesheet for you.
