TeeGee has my PW... Wall him if I get below 1 Hour in CLAN GAMES ONLY !!
2dimes I know you are not understanding how Auto Tournament work (in the background), to comply with your above "resolutions" it would need volunteer(s) to watch every single auto tournament that are ongoing, and all that are upcoming for possible issue like this however this would not solve the issue since you can't swap player after an Auto Tournament has started, the engine isn't that smart... This kind of issue has been brought many time and anytime the answer is mainly going toward the player who join....if you know you won't be available for a while and not using sitter then don't join, if player keep joining without caring then you will face this issue again and again.2dimes wrote:Concise description:Specifics/Details:
- Change or remove the auto join feature. Maybe make it semi auto. It adds members but the game does not start until everyone auto added enters it the first time.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
- If it was semi auto nothing would change as long as the members are present, they would enter the game right away, if they are offline for whatever reason the games would wait instead of forcing them into this situation
- Auto join keeps adding people to games even if they can't make it online
- This could easily be addressed
- Less unintended dead beating
- Reduced C&A reports
- Less people inconvenienced by waiting on games where someone is added but is not here
Yes it's a heads up. But I have no idea where to post this if not here. If they can stop him joining games will stop the adam666 incident from happening again.Razorvich wrote:I'm not sure if this is a C & A case, or a heads up that bruce is AWOL.
I really hope everything is O.K. in Bruceland

That doesn't counter the fact that someone could just fucking remove him from the tournament like they should've done with Adam. Instead, you let people's points tank to oblivion and then issue an ultimatum (KA) that when they return, if they don't get their points back to a certain amount within a certain time, action will be taken. This is fucking ridiculous when it's the fucking autotournament system which is the problem in the first place.Mad777 wrote:2dimes I know you are not understanding how Auto Tournament work (in the background), to comply with your above "resolutions" it would need volunteer(s) to watch every single auto tournament that are ongoing, and all that are upcoming for possible issue like this however this would not solve the issue since you can't swap player after an Auto Tournament has started, the engine isn't that smart... Semi Auto mode is as time consuming as running a casual tournament if not more time consuming

Can you remind me what is the story about adam666 & the auto tournament?iAmCaffeine wrote:That doesn't counter the fact that someone could just fucking remove him from the tournament like they should've done with Adam. Literally like "hey you used our system which is broken, as a result it completely fucked your points and now we're gonna f*ck you as well".

LFAW linked it but short story is he got seriously ill and couldn't play CC. Obviously the auto-tournaments he'd been participating in kept going and putting him in games. In the end he fell all the way down to 44pts. Not only is that a problem for the people he now plays against, but because of the broken system he has to climb all the way up from that stupidly low score. Adam has played for 10yrs and never put a foot wrong, so to issue him an ultimatum as if he's broken rules is ridiculous.Mad777 wrote:Can you remind me what is the story about adam666 & the auto tournament?iAmCaffeine wrote:That doesn't counter the fact that someone could just fucking remove him from the tournament like they should've done with Adam. Same goes for Adam666.king achilles wrote:It doesn't look like there was intent to deadbeat or to lower his score deliberately by deadbeating.
