I'm very disappointed in how the movie treated Hulk v. Thanos.* Thanos sans infinity gauntlet cannot defeat Hulk.

* I didn't watch the movie, only the one "fight" scene where Thanos v. Hulk was akin to Hulk v. Hawkeye.

Ant-man is the best. Tied with Black Panther.

How that pans out across the rest of the film is probably the best thing in the movie, oddly enough. Mark Ruffalo is one of the only actors in the whole thing that gets an interesting role.

Pretty much. It's not a bad movie. It's not boring either. It's mostly just there.

Is there any reason they give (other than plot armor) that they don't just blast the bad guy with the entire nuclear arsenal of at least the u.s.? In universe, the avengers and presumably shield have full access to the u.s. govt stockhold. Surely that is more destructive than a bunch of powered up ninjas. I mean, they know if he gets all the gems than he's omnipotent, so at the point I'd think any means necessary is called for. Just nuke the bastard before he even gets to earth.

If he can destroy 4000 nuclear warheads with magic then why even bother with the team? Some of which just include regular humans.

The super-people give him magic gems so that he can undo anything that happens to him while he has his enchanted glove on, duh. If the plot happened your way, it would seem ridiculous.

A human is very different to a nuclear warhead.

Indeed, even a non-super powered person can take down a basic nuclear missile:

Forget SDI, all you need is a resourceful young person with a bow and arrow.
