Hello folks, for those not familiar with my music threads, this is a thread for people to post music they like. This time, the challenge is great music from computer or console games.
Here's a start from the Katamari Damacy games:
the world is in greater peril from those who tolerate or encourage evil than from those who actually commit it- Albert Einstein
I'll go out on a limb and say the one I enjoy the most is the soundtrack from Fallout 3 (this is listening to my kids playing...lol). All oldies from the 40s / 50s. My 15 year old actually went and bought a few of these songs
It's like an HOUR long....
"Gypsy told my fortune...she said that nothin showed...."
apparently this is the most loathed song from any of the Fallout games, but i quite like it for some reason...*shrugs*. am currently replaying Fallout 3 atm, perhaps i'll tune in to GNR the next time i turn it on. thx for the tip, KB...
A game called Thunder Force IV that was localized into America (and Canada) as "Lightening Force" (sic).
Just the localization alone makes it the best game ever, but the soundtrack is actually amazing too. I love the textured MIDI. It's one of those games that has a soundcheck mode that's actually useful because the soundcheck mode had music not in the game.
I do have a CD of the soundtrack in my car. You can come hang out and we can listen to it. We'll go the car wash or something and then watch all the bubbles while blasting the beats.
