As much as I hate to say it Lama,when Ontario votes PC for provincial then Liberals win Federal.The best we can hope for is a minority government.With Trudeau trying to get Quebecs vote saying he will try to stop Albertas and Ontarios premiers plans I believe it will be a minority government atleast.

The one exception is Tulsi at the debates, yes she is american but that woman is incredible.
She has exposed the ignorance and corruption on a few of the dems, she is exposing the corruption in the entire american system.

I saw an interview with this woman on CPAC:

She said something that I found very humorous. She said there is almost 0% correlation between policies and voting patterns. She gave people surveys and expected them to pick their favorite policy as well as who they would vote for. The only problem is that she didn't tell them whose was which policy. Basically, you might think that an NDP voter would be more likely to pick NDP policies. She showed no correlation. LIberals hate the carbon tax just as much as everyone else (about 1/3 of Canadians); all the parties think NDP has the worst Pharmacare option (even NDP supporters), etc.

Unless you are in the riding where the party leader runs you don't vote for them. Why would you talk about voting for them?

You can't choose between pm candidates. You should be choosing to vote for a particular non liberal minister of parliament that seems like the best choice in your riding.

I did LOL a couple times, so it wasn't 8 minutes completely wasted. Still, two LOLs in 8 minutes is a rather poor ratio. Overall a stupid video. 3/10.

As for myself, after 27 years of staying out of politics, I finally decided to get back in, and did a bit of canvassing for my Green candidate. It really felt good to get out on the streets again. I think next election I'm going to get in with both feet and be part of the campaign team from the opening bell.

I do try to check out all the candidates in my riding, but it rarely has an impact on my decision. Ultimately we live in a world of party politics, and we vote for a party. A really great candidate or a really awful candidate can change the picture a bit in their riding, but only a bit.

So you never vote Liberal? I can honestly say that never in my life have I voted Liberal. This year, however, for the first time I did seriously consider it in the months before the election writ was dropped. It's the closest I've come. Once the election came, however, I made up my mind and decided to go Green all the way.

Good stuff. I voted libertarian for most of my life. Just not for me any more.

I mostly did it because trying to get information about a candidate feels nearly impossible. I considered the PPC guy but was unable hear his pitch. None of the parties like that got a single seat.

One candidate was listed ML it took way too much google searching to figure out what that was after we had already voted. I would not have voted for them but it would make more sense to me, for the ballot to explain it better. I think it was intentionally omitted to tame it down.

Here people elect the Conservative party guys and complain about the billions of dollars that get transferred to Quebec.

In Quebec they elect Liberals so they can get transfer payments.
