Correct, he wasn't. He said there were 15 cases detected through epidemiological surveillance and 45 from American citizens he evacuated from the Diamond Princess.

So, in other words, his wisdom has kept the U.S. with only 15 cases while the rest of the world burns. However, his magnanimity allowed the repatriation of 45 carriers infected abroad under secure and controlled conditions.

The reason we have less cases is because we're not land locked with China and his cabinet told him what to do i.e. shut down flight from China and the CDC took care of the rest
