I was wondering how long it would take for this to tangent into the B.S. policy of women serving alongside men in combat....reverend_kyle wrote:

We might have to use it for the Caucasians, if we can't use Omega Force*.2dimes wrote:You are suggesting the Iraqi forces like those of most Islamic cultures have a pretty good mix of genders?.mr. incrediball wrote:2dimes wrote:It was being develped by the USA not for it.mr. incrediball wrote:gay bomb? i think considering the women in the army, i think bi-bomb would be more appropriate.America isn't the only country with women in the army, idiot!!!
I know. Hence why even while the cold war might be over, we aren't out of the woods yet.MeDeFe wrote:I didn't mean theme as in musical theme, I was referring to what you said about just one failure.Jenos Ridan wrote:Heard that it had no theme music. Read your history Iz. Ever hear of Boudica? How 'bout that lady in the Book of Judges?Iz Man wrote:I was wondering how long it would take for this to tangent into the B.S. policy of women serving alongside men in combat....reverend_kyle wrote:

That depends entirely on the quality of the gruntsJenos Ridan wrote:Read your history Iz. Ever hear of Boudica? But still, nobody wants their daughter, sister, aunt, wife and/or mother to be violated by a bunch of horny enemy grunts.

Boadicea. There's always the exception.Jenos Ridan wrote:Read your history Iz. Ever hear of Boudica? How 'bout that lady in the Book of Judges?

And one of the most annoying ones EVER. Bible fans take this as truth yet can't believe he story of Heracles.Iz Man wrote:Boadicea. There's always the exception.Jenos Ridan wrote:Read your history Iz. Ever hear of Boudica? How 'bout that lady in the Book of Judges?
I'm no Theologian, nor have I read the Bible front to back, but isn't the story of Samson in Judges?
That was one of my favorites.

Understood. While I consider myself a Christian (raised Lutheran), I also am a realist.unriggable wrote:And one of the most annoying ones EVER. Bible fans take this as truth yet can't believe he story of Heracles.

Already a movie - I spy. Eddie Murphy is Sampson.Iz Man wrote:Understood. While I consider myself a Christian (raised Lutheran), I also am a realist.unriggable wrote:And one of the most annoying ones EVER. Bible fans take this as truth yet can't believe he story of Heracles.
Personally, I look at the Bible as a "why" things happen, not "what exactly" happened. IMHO, one cannot dismiss science, it defies logic.
That being said, I don't know why you'd consider the story of Samson "annoying". I think it has all the makings for a great movie:
Big, strong, invincable dude who kicks major ass, betrayed by a woman (go figure), gets his eyes gouged out, then literally brings down the house to destroy everyone.
I mean, c'mon, wouldn't that be cool on the big screen?

Samson was in the Book of Judges. So was Debra, a prophetess-general.Iz Man wrote:Boadicea. There's always the exception.Jenos Ridan wrote:Read your history Iz. Ever hear of Boudica? How 'bout that lady in the Book of Judges?
