I am considering replying to this one because there are so many just brain-dead stupid lies.
Windmills did not freeze in Texas - it was said the gas pipelines froze because that was where the big power losses came from but new lawsuits point out the gas pipelines didn't freeze, the gas plants shut down their deliveries to make more money.
People died in the cold so billionaires could make more money.

Some of these fires were man made by idiots. I think last year Cali had a bad one because some smoke bomb for a kid reveal went wrong? A couple years before that, had a bad one on the gorge where i live because some kids did it for the laughs.
Its undeniably getting hotter and drier though.
Edit - To put this into perspective, i live on the west coast. 9 months out of the year it's pretty much just rain and gray. These past couple of years, it's been more like 6 months now, and last year we broke a temp record of 117.
I cannot overstate how fucking brutal that heat is. Its middle east weather. And we're a state known for its trees, not a god damn desert.

But it's not as bad as it sounds since we have dry heat in the West. I went hiking last year at 105* and it was not identifiably hotter than normal. I have a theory the human body can't really tell the difference between ~95 and anything higher. Granted, it was a short hike and I measured myself but I'd rather do that than stay indoors at 49.**

The USA uses degrees Fahrenheit; water boils at 212 F; so 117 is F, not C (degrees Celsius), SO, NO, water does not boil at 117 F (under normal atmospheric pressure situation).
Water does boil at 100 degrees Celsius, again under normal atmospheric pressure.
