I conjecture that 20-25% of Republican voters, perhaps 15% of all voters, will support Donald Trump for almost ANY reason. That is why we see his poll numbers RISE with each indictment, he has a core group of voters devoted to him NO MATTER what. They are the ones who go out to his rallies and make it SEEM that he has HUGE support nation-wide. What Trump's Big Ego will not allow him to grasp is that this crowd, loud and rabid as they are, are actually a small minority of those in the USA.GaryDenton wrote:Sigh, Looks like the only way the Trump supporters left will abandon him now is if he turns into a Mexican or a Black man.

New poll dropped today from Emerson. And, once again, Trump is up. I'm sure it must just be that 15% of hardcore Trump supporters standing on boxes to make themselves seem bigger than they really are, though.jusplay4fun wrote:make it SEEM that he has HUGE support nation-wide

You guys need to start mentally steeling yourselves. We're going to build a new world based on your worst nightmares. You have more than a year to get ready. Do whatever you need to do to prepare.
- In a hypothetical matchup between Trump and Biden, 46% would vote for Trump and 44% Biden. Ten percent are undecided. With Green Party candidate Cornel West added to the ballot test, 44% support Trump, 39% Biden, 4% West, and 13% are undecided.
“Despite losing ground in the Republican Primary, support for Donald Trump in a hypothetical matchup against Joe Biden increased two points since last week’s poll,” Kimball said.

We have over a year until the election November 2024. I can only wish that the Republicans stick with Trump as their candidate for President. This will only encourage not only Democrats to vote, but Independents to vote Democratic for President and both Chamber's of Congress.jusplay4fun wrote:Polls mean LITTLE when the actual election is more than one YEAR away. LOTS can happen. Who foresaw COVID in August of 2019? NO one saw that exact timing and that scenario.
Beating Trump won't cure Trumpism. DeSantis is Trump Lite, and Ramalama is Trump Heavy. I think they're the two most likely to be chosen if Trump stumbles.Pack Rat wrote:We have over a year until the election November 2024. Please vote for Trump in the Republican primaries/caucuses, so we can finally rid this sickness that is called Trumpism. Maybe sanity will return to the GOP, but I doubt it.
Black isn't a proper noun in this sentence, so it shouldn't be capitalised.GaryDenton wrote:Sigh, Looks like the only way the Trump supporters left will abandon him now is if he turns into a Mexican or a Black man.
