The inauguration of this thread appears to me like a (very minor) coincidence, in that I have recently found myself admiring the aptness of several memes/gifs displayed on the OT Forums. The contexts, both original and subsequent, are of less import than the inherent qualities of the images (and text) themselves.
These memes are worthy of standing alone.
So without further ado, let me gather them here together in one place for, dare I say, 'posterity', ...or such as it is...
