These people are too soft and sometimes people just need to be knocked down to the level they truly are at.

Bring Flame Wars back so I can start hurting feelings within the rules because some of these weak no backbone saps deserve it.

I know admins are against it, but be realistic, even you admins and mods have to admit you want to lash out at people that deserve it without consequences.. And we all deserve the chance to do so.

Well, I can't imagine what else would cause you to attack someone verbally other than their play or chat, unless you know them in real life, in which case this wouldn't be the place to deal with it. Who is to say what someone "deserves"? As Ricky Gervais observed, "Just because you're offended, it doesn't mean you're right". Isn't this just going to extend people's foe lists and reduce the number of available games? Might it also not put off new joiners who see how players treat each other? I suspect that the main reason for it not being available is that one could probably sue someone for libel or defamation if it were related to anything outside the realm of the site, and therefore the site might be liable, so I wouldn't see them risking that.

In my view, the macho posturing, knuckle-dragging mentality is these days less likely to persuade newcomers to stay than a friendly, competitive but supportive environment, precisely *because* the world is now fuller of "woke snowflakes" than it used to be. It's called adapting to the current market.

The site has lost so much membership because most people started getting old and croaking, sadly.. or people just started acting like jerks and making multiple accounts and getting that good ole ip ban.

I mean if you look back on the guested members list wicked is on the first page, and when I first came here was one of the main chat mods. But there was a lot of drama down the road and she ended up getting herself banned as a multi too.

I seen members on the list all the way up to page 100 that I use to game with day in and day out back 15 years ago, al guested for different reasons.
It's not just declining because people are losing interest. People decided to do dumb shiiiiittttt.
At the same time, had the administration team really even done any advertising to get the membership back in up?
Not from anything I've seen. And knowing weather that is so or not is something that won't be known easily.

No mods have weighed in on this, nor has the admins, but I'd be willing to bet I could easily get them to.

At the same time, once this initiative passes I can get sooo many people to join just to incognito talk trash about crappy players in a thread specifically designed for it, and I've got the money to cover them having premium for many years and it not hurt my pockets.
That would most definitely benefit the owner.
They would get way more income.
And there would be way more active members.


But, at the same time...
.there would be more people that could play if they could straight talk shit about someone in a solitary forum and not get in trouble for it, and go back to their games being all nice and respectful.

I mean that would help everyone, even you, when it comes to medal hunting and simply getting games going.
I mean I've already worked on getting an ad for CC together for my own personal website that I sell and buy thousands of dollars of silver and gold in a week.


There are soo many positive outcomes to people just being able to straight trash others.
It's even a recruiting point to get more people to join.

And it can even be set up where minors aren't allowed in said forum sections, just to make it safer for others.
Maybe even give an option to remove certain forum sections for those that don't want to see it.
