I doubt Michelangelo was even aware of the Legends of the Yeti (Himalayan Mountain area) or Bigfoot/Sasquatch (US/Canada and most likely the Pacific Northwest Region of the US, SW Canada). If that is the case, why would he put mythical creatures in his painting and interpretation of the Last Judgement, a powerful notion in Christianity.

I'm not techie enough to zoom in, but from what I can read online, it seems the creatures in the cave behind Christ have been called sasquatches by some commentators. Others say they are demons waiting and hoping to take souls to Hell if Christ fails to redeem them. Given the religious nature of the painting, I think the latter explanation is more likely.
