The empty Japan decoy(not really a lot of planes on the carriers)...Hurried back towards The Philippines....Mean while...The Americans would win The Battle of The Philippine Sea....WHICH ALLOWED MacArthur TO RETURN and retake the Philippines as HE SAID HE WOULD......... The poll for Greatest was based on ho killed the most humans, had the most humans kill personally, or had the most killed “in his name”.

That’s why Jesus won.

To be fair, I neglected to put Alexander the Great on there… currently listening to the Hardcore History series on him… he may be in contention for having killed the most humans personally (i.e. with his own sword). That said, the numbers used in ancient records are likely inaccurate and I don’t think we know enough about pre-Greek peoples… especially west Asia or east Asia… so there are probably some other missing Greaties.
