Why not, even a trained monkey could come up with better ideas than what we have already had.
That's kind.
I am personally doing July and October this year, so those are covered. Chanakam2020 and Kingm are putting together the ideas for the other months. I simply do the forum write ups and the prizes, as I am not the greatest with the creative side, just the boring shit.
If you have Discord we can add you to the group we have there or if not, you can simply write up a basic proposal and just send it to the three of us via PM. Try to include maps/settings/points for each different type and then a name and basic "story". Chanakam is great at the graphics, but if you want to put something together there, too, that is always welcomed.
I have brought up with bigWham the possibility of putting limits on the number of games people can play, but unfortunately that will not be as easy to do technology wise, as I had hoped. I do agree with you that it seems pointless to play when someone immediately starts 200 games and that's one of the main reasons I don't personally play in most challenges. Percentage based is what I prefer personally, but even that way has issues.
I also agree with you that we need more people to be interested in playing these challenges. If we could just come up with a point system or a way to limit number of games I think that would encourage more high rankers to play. If anyone has any thoughts on how to do that, technologically speaking, please do share.
xroads, I look forward to reading your proposal.
