How about no 1v1. That’s a challenge for those of us who can play 300 games all day.
Maybe like an Egypt challenge (the three normal ones). 3 player, 4 player or doubles (no inviting, even teammates), and 5 player. 1 token, 2 token, and 4 token so scores dont get 100k ahead.
All scored games only. You can even do termite so it’s not a total loss for the scored endowed. Must have so many tokens in ALL 3 maps (forces players to play outside their niche).
I think something like this returns it to a challenge, instead of a tournament. Of course somebody could always run a companion tourney if they want to be the best at the map..instead of the challenge part.
