Faced with the horror they had just witnessed and learning about The Thing's ability to mimic and that there was potentially one member already infected, the crew formed a plan; to blood test each other to find The Thing before it could convert the crew. The Science Team faced against the unknown Thing and managed to save themselves before night fell. All was good for the Antarctica Research Team, so they thought. One mistake, which might prove to be a fatal mistake for the crew. They Lynched the Thing, that insidious beast, but they DID NOT TORCH IT. All pieces of the organism thrive on replicating itself to the last cell, yet how could the crew possibly have known. They will soon find out......
The crew thinking they had just avoided fatal disaster settled down for an evening dinner excited for the possibilities of the coming days when they could return to normal and continue on with their research. Off to the dining hall Blackpool Manor they went off to feast. Unbeknownst to them the Thing was already replicating it's next target....
