Bunny - archivist can have been recruited already as the secretary.
Night 1 Patron will have a second chance at recruiting the archivist and by day2 the Patron will have the chance to claim the role of whoever they recruited Day0 as a fake claim

And actually you should know that I am an active player and moreover you should see that I am trying to get House to play the right tactics and target the right player(s) as the Patron - and so I'm putting myself out there in doing so.

Wow, I'm not really a Zulu Warrior, nor am I pretending to be. As a novice player, all I can say now is I am not a chosen one and am still trying to work out why I ever joined. I'm sure it will all make sense soon. BTW I joined the Royal Navy in1975 and joined my first ship in January 1976, HMS Zulu, and the warrior bit is an RN dance which I am unable to elaborate on because we have ladies at the table, but it did involve stripping, nakedness and alcohol. It eventually developed into a much darker dance involving a rolled-up newspaper.

I will try to fathom out a strategy here when I understand what my next move should be and why. I am usually quite quiet and reserved unless I drink red wine :-).

LC I don't really get the fixation on Charle because of the the posting delay if that is the main reason. I can say that I myself will usually start a reply while reading through posts when I am trying to catch up on things which would easily cause a posting delay between replies. If you think the rest is enough to keep suspicion on him then I guess but based on the time reason I don't see it

So you start a 1 line post, then read back for 10 minutes then make the 1 line post?

Good job you werent a farmer in olden times trying to get the cart to pull the horse would have caused much hilarity amongst your peasants

I would like to hear more from the MIA's though, especially King and Kong if he's able to post. King Kong see what I did there.

Kats can you explain why you are most suspicious of Kong. I don't disagree on you for having him on the radar but aside from a comment of being suspicious I don't see any explanation as to why unless I've missed it from earlier pages.

We need everyone actively posting who and also why if we're going to have any hopes of a lynch to try and get the patron. This info also helps town later if the days progress

This is why we got combines now, for dumb farmers like me. Was just saying the 10 min fixation for me is not enough to lynch someone solely based on that. and yes if I was in those shoes could have easily started a reply with something to say on a post but kept reading then realized there it was addressed or corrected so posted a one liner instead. Not completely unreasonable is what I was getting at it. Also could have been like me posting at work then get interrupted by staff and then look back and realize didn't hit submit. Just again more explanations then simply a sinister 10 min gap

True, but those are plausible genuine reasons offered by you/rags.

Charle s lack of reason/reponse to this over the immediate 24hour period is to me a reason that compounds the strangeness of the fp by 10mins for a oneliner.

Zulu, katy, im looking for evasiveness and/or players saying something they dont believe to be true or accurate at the point at which they say it. Thats not the same as players saying something that is incorrect - we can all do that.

And
Reactions to posts are as and arguably more important than initiating posts to me anyway when assessing evasiveness and players saying something they dont believe to be true.

I think my viewpoint has adjusted.

Right now my vote is on charle as patron for suspicion derived from what he has posted.
It could be argued that king is a viable alternative for sheer lack of posts.

Dont like hjelp as patron but have been suspecting him as secretary or circle aligned 3rd party.

Bunny and hjelp have played the wait to see where others stand line. Bunny keeps emphasising that. Something bunny said earlier had me marking her as house aligned who knew something from her own role that there must be others non vanilla house. But she could be recruited as secretary with any such knowledge too. So im questioning myself whether her annoyance with me is as she is positioning frustration at me flooding posts, or whether it might after all be something more sinister.

Hey all - I'm so sorry, I completely forgot I was revived in this one. Big project at work + me being on call as well has done a number on my head and perception of time and reality. Unfortunately don't think I'll have a chance to fully catch up and take a proper look at and full write-up of everything until tomorrow morning for me (14-18 hours from now.)

Just wanted to quickly clarify what happened with me earlier so Sonic's name isn't besmirched. I made the post about trying the gate (or whatever I said) when the game was right about to start, got killed, was a little surprised but considered it fair-play if it was going to be that kind of game. I later reached out to sonic, realized there was a misunderstanding about my intention to leave the game, and he was gracious enough to write me back into the game and let me rejoin. There were no gameplay or mod setup related shenanigans that came into play that caused that fiasco, just a misunderstanding. I lost my initial role (since it was revealed) and got a new one. I know from my perspective that it is still house, but there's nothing from how that all played out that should clear that to the rest of you one way or another for now, I am functionally the same as if I had started the game the same as everyone with that role.

Thanks for filling us in Kong. Just to make sure I understood what you wrote and there are no more misunderstandings: you joked about leaving in game chat, sonic killed you thinking you were exiting, you said no it was a joke, then he wrote you back in as chef for flavour and nothing more. Your role was revealed; I assume that references sonic saying you died as town when he killed you. Because of that he gave you a new role. Do I got that right?

Remember: One double invitation awaits one.

But who knows if a stranger at the gates might still turn up late asking for dinner?

Gates close october 17th seven o'clock England time
SoN!c wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2026 11:09 pm All invitees have arrived. And An invitation was accepted.

However, If a late stranger still turns up before the clock strikes seven tonight the Mulligatawny soup will be served twisted.

She claimed to be "katyssis".

Receiving a double portion of Mulligatawny soup.

It also seems that some soup plates got mixed up..

Why don't you do something original and make a claim on 1 vote instead?

I'm more bothered about the 3 x Ch on the menu (as spotted by Annie) than Charle s self vote as concerns lynching Charle.

I don't think Sonic would have referenced Ch deliberately in the menu if Charle was Patron.
Sonic has played it each way as to whether he would or wouldn't have.
I'm thinking that what with quality French wines, the Champagne, Chateau, Chardonnay actually could easily have happened without design by Sonic and him realising it might point to Charle.

I have reasons to suspect Charle, and I don't think he's done anything to help House in its cause.
I'm sticking with Charle for now, but a lynch wagon on King would sway me.

The question was put with the customary precision.

"Same procedure as every year?
Mulligatawny soup with dry sherry
Fish with white wine
Bird with champagne
Fruit with port?"

The dry sherry is chilled to the proper degree and poured so that the glass remains one-third empty, as custom requires of a fortified wine just the way you want it sir.

The reply followed without hesitation."No James, this year we will have:

Mulligatawny soup with dry sherry
Poached Haddock with Chardonnay
Roast Bird with Château Lafite 1855
And we will have the champagne with the fruits. Perhaps the red port later.

The Chardonnay will be presented at cellar temperature; the bottle will be shown, the cork examined, and a modest measure poured for approval before the remaining places are filled. The Château Lafite 1855 — a Pauillac First Growth, serious and structured — will be decanted in advance, allowed to open, and served at the temperature appropriate to a mature claret. Each glass will be filled no more than half, the wine permitted to breathe, and every place attended with the same deliberate care. Champagne will be opened at the table with controlled pressure and poured in two stages.
The red port will remain unopened. It is, after all, entirely possible that the evening is not yet over after the fruit."

Very well, sir."

The house did not elaborate.

So i think this implies at some point game variation options were given either to a house role or the patron.
And i think the patron more likely who chose a variation option

Hjelp, it might be just kong but i read something more into it.
I read sonic giving patron option and as patron isnt kong and as kong was a mixup between kong and sonic im not reading it as just kong.
Also i think the before and after on the menus look very similar except the course the champagne is served with changes.

So im not sure it is just kong
