Wow dev so silent and the suddenly so defensive, with an almost immediate clap back after my post, me thinks you might be browsing the forum while not logged in.. also sus.
Honestly Im surprised you would remind us of the totally sus 10 minute explanation which further supports the suspicious browsing activity because Im on here all the time and I never see your name online… and not one not two not even three but 4 back to back posts after an accusation, does no one else think Ive hit on something here. I know Im curious. 🧐

Bunny, i do think when i was narrowing down my candidates for lynching d1, my rationale for excluding devante was the most tenuous

Yes wrong with charle, so thinking about who i thought was house but with the weakest reason for thinking so & dev does fall into that spot.
If it was a sweepstake for who is patron and i picked dev out the hat right now i wouldnt be displeased

Charle claimed House and that 100% followed by the claim and you still miss it -> you can't be House.

Hjelp its up to charle to clarify what he knew about his role and when.

100% town/house and no special powers were in the same post by charle.
So IF charle knew he was heir at that point he shouldnt have posted "no special powers"
And IF charle didnt know he was heir at that point, you hjelp have apparently somehow picked up on charle claiming heir when he didnt know it himself!
(I take it you are not claiming psychic are you hjelp?)

Wow...damned if one does and damned if one doesn't.
Loose Canon wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2026 11:41 am I'm just going to make a point on Charle.

I think the reason why Charle is still present in the game after being mislynched is something to do with the win conditions being slightly different for patron and secretary.

I think there is probably a scenario Sonic envisaged where a later mislynch of Charle might have occurred.
I'm not going to try and work it out because it distracts from getting the patron.
But I think Charle is still present and able to post perhaps almost as an accidental result of Charle not claiming and so getting mislynched earlier than in either a contested claim for heir, or mislynched because it was suspected Charle had claimed heir but was thought nevertheless to be secretary - or something like that which frazzles my poor little solitary braincell.
Oh for crying out loud... I think aliens possessed Son!c to keep Charle alive. Why are we back to conjecture about setup, mod, and how people are browsing the forum? It's BS.

This is a decent point, but a seasoned player would know that sticking your neck out like Loose is bound to get you in trouble. As of right now, I'd be more inclined to look at the ones just following Loose blindly. Homer springs to mind here. I got the feeling that he basically said that he's follow Loose in whichever way Loose's Canon pointed. Arguably, I did a similar thing, but I do feel that I at least tried to get Loose to commit with talking about D2 hypothetically.
i never said i would follow loose. i was convinced by both yours and LC's argument about why a lynch on D1 was important. and at that point in the game, the only possible lynch was on charle. as you yourself said (both before and after the mislynch) - a mislynch is better than no lynch.

well, it's more "damned because you did right after i damned you because you didn't". if bunnie is already suspicious of dev for his absence, popping in right away does seem a little convenient. it's like when someone steals something small and gets caught.... is that the first time they stole? or the first time they got caught? is this really dev's first time online in days, or the first time he felt compelled to speak up because he had a direct call out and a vote against him?

as for your second point... i second that. can we please stop getting so caught up on game play theories. charle is alive because that's the role he was given. there is absolutely no evidence or reason to suspect that it's anything more or less than that.
Devante wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2026 11:18 am I then stated most inclined for me to vote on was kong, hjelp and king. kong because of inactivity and the weird role coming in from sonic, not to mention a assessment he said would provide but never did. hjelp because the back and forth on 2 vs 3 scum in play which is now a mute point since sonic told us there was an invitation accepted. king because of the MIA all game, but now mod killed so also mute. The benefit here at least is that Charle was not scum and the lynch did not lose a townie for us, although yes without a vote but a confirmed town still alive is of benefit regardless.
moot point....

Devante posted pg 18:
Quote
Still got a hard on for me I see, very cute little bunny. I did not vote for Charle because I did not think fixating on a 10 min gap in posting was enough to warrant a lynch when we had far more sus players to go off. I explained it here if you care to read back on posts rather then keep steering your fixation:

Quoted his earlier post here (I messed up the formatting ok):
Catching up now. I'm still leaning with LC being the most town so far and given that will follow the Charle vote if that's how it's going. But I don't think he's scum cause aside from some posts early on, which I can see from both sides, the time thing on posting does not do it for me. And I can't tell if that's just LC being LC zeroing in on something or if he's on to something. But with nothing else to go on I'll follow suit as we need to lynch someone as town needs to hit patron.

End quotes

...

For the life of me, I cannot see how that quote backs up the claim, "I did not think fixating on a 10 min gap in posting was enough to warrant a lynch."

What it says is - no opinion, no opinion, no opinion, I will vote for Charle.

Then he didn't do that. As my dear sweet grandmother would say, "don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining."

What's more, I am taking it personally that my little recap of the other Charle vote reasons was ignored. I find Bunny's assertion that "hello future wives" is a fundamentally recruit-y kind of thing to say interesting. The timing I'm not going to sweat. I don't want anyone hesitating to post because the timing could be wrong. The content will be wrong! As my dear sweet aunt would say, "this world's so full of shit, a man's bound to step in it whether he's careful or not." Albeit fishily, Devante is at least posting. Unlike some people!

On that note, I would like to quickly yell at Rags for another attempt at policing how people contribute. All contributions welcome! Social deduction based contributions most welcome, sure.

I think Charle missed an inbox message and that's why he didn't know he was heir. Hjelp was the most concerned about heir role so I don't know but I don't really think there's bad motives at the bottom of it.

I was planning on waiting till Kong chimed in but I know enough about exercises in futility to know I'd be waiting a long time. If only someone had anecdotes of wild dancing to amuse us.

The reason I don't like all contributions is that the more fluff there is to go through, the more vital stuff I miss because slowly I lose focus and concentration. And why didn't you yell at homer?

In retrospect, I should have yelled at homer. You chided Charle earlier though and that was Homer's first offense.

I am aware of the irony in me telling you that the way you post about wrong ways to post is wrong.

Where I think we are at is roughly like this ;
Patron had a 1 in 9 chance of blind recruiting archivist D0
Assuming they didn't but then had a go at recruiting archivist N1 Patron then stood a 1 in 6 chance of recruiting archivist
Add 1 in 9 to 1 in 6 I think you get a 28% chance

Archivist would have had a 2 in 6 chance of detecting Patron or Sec N1 = 33% but multiply this by 72% (1-28%) takes us down to about 24% that we have an archivisit still house aligned who has detected a Circle player but not declared this yet.
And I think an archivist still house aligned who got a house aligned result N1 is 4 in 6 multiplied by 72% = 48%

(kong complicates the above %s a bit)

Annie - has posted a lot but actually hasn't really initiated putting anyone under pressure yet
Loose - you can think what you want about me - I know Charle does, and I think theres friction/mutual suspicion between hjelp and me.
Bunny - does want to put Dev under pressure, Dev did seem to take a position D1 sort of but didn't vote for Charle or ANO at close of D1
Hjelp - did vote Charle in the end but fixated on Kong and now wants to go sort of for me but unless he's a psychic can't possibly have known Charle was breadcrumbing heir
Dev - as above did seem to take some sort of positions D1 but no vote at end of D1
Homer - I quite liked his stances D1, considered arguments for lynching and did end up on the Charle lynch
Rag - took position D1, favoured a lynch on Hjelp but hammered Charle in the end. If Rag was circle aligned D1 I just have to stand back and applaud him.

I'm considering joining Bunny on Dev.
But I think I'll at least leave it 24 hours.

"Sorry mate, life has been kicking my ass recently. Need to step back from CC for a while. I meant to kill myself last (game) night and bow out that way, but missed the window it seems. Apologies again, I appreciate you running the game and writing me back in, just don't think I can play this one unfortunately."

Kong has (delayed) poisoned himself.. bit late but still managed it somehow..

Kong was 3P with poison night kill ability!

I can't initiate putting Devante under pressure because Bunny did that.

Devante is not playing for house and I would be very curious to see if ZW and Katyssis agree.

Guys, you need to vote Loose for the Lynch, if he has a different role than what I was before I knew I was heir, then it is time to get him to claim.

And I still get to that one clue picture Sonic gave us, where a man and a woman raised their hands. So Loose could have recruited Annie on N0. I still believe there is a male and female on our scum list.
