Why do I feel like I'm being ignored.

Yes, I'm sure WM can read it the first time. Just because he doesn't respond doesn't mean he isn't considering it. After all, he didn't respond to every single post, did he?

I did not mean to ignore you. I have been busy. As far as Clan logos go, Zazzle is great at allowing customization. If you want a mug with your clan logo and rank or CC and a star, just go to one of the customizable products and upload your own icons.

It would be impossible for me to make a product for everyone to everyones taste. That is why I have setup several custom products. Hope this helps

How about personalised CC cards. (the cards you get with the game with the country and the solder/ gun/ horse on them.) On the back it could have some CC advertisments

That one made me laugh out loud. If I'm buying a CC t-shirt, that would be it. The "Did you attack Kamchatka?" one is funnier as "Did you attack MY Kamchatka?"

Anyway, could we sell boards of the maps? Playing the 8 thoughts map would kick ass in real life. Or you could just frame it up on the wall as decoration (Which I think someone has already suggested).

card board maps in the shop

Postby DiM on Sat Sep 15, 2007 10:11 pm

i bet if cardboard versions of the maps we have here were introduced in the shop they would be very appreciated.
many of us have a risk set at home. why resume to playing the classic when we could play all?
of course this would mean contacting the cartographers to provide resized versions but i guess that wouldn't be that hard at least for some f the maps.

We have posters available. There are certain legalities about creating world domination boards I think. Hence we just create posters you can hang on the wall...or set on a table or the floor. :)

Cost of shipping may be an issue as well.
$300 for a $5 item, a little outrageous :)

are you sure you're not allowed? :(

after all you're not selling a cardboard game map you could say you're selling a cardboard poster

hte problem with the posters is that you can't take them on a camping trip and they are much less resistant. i've had beer spillage coffee spilage cola ash from the cigarettes and various types of food on my card board and yet it still looks decent.

i have made myself a printed copy of my map and laminated it. it's very resistant (because of the laminating process) but the main problem is that i can't fold it :(

it's thickly laminated it can't be rolled

and even if i could roll it it would still take a whole lot more space than the usual foldable cardboard map.

T shirt idea

Postby tr71123 on Sun Sep 30, 2007 4:46 pm

I think you should create a shirt saying "May the Dice be with you" and put it some type of star wars font...

good luck

How about a shirt with the Following:

Ancient Greece Map on the front with 2 armies on Lesbos and only 1 on the rest of the board of all the same color......like that person just won the game......

On the back it says "I won and finished with 2 Lesbos......GG!

or 2 on lesbos and the back say "2 on Lesbos are better than one........"

or I paid the membership fee just so I could see 2 Lesbos....

It's not exactly "P.C" I guess but things that are "sexy" and "funny" sell alot!
I like you.....do you like me?

I found an easier way to make maps for yourself...you can just copy/paste them onto paint, separate them into x amount of even sections, enlarge them accordingly, then put them on some kinda board (i used some white foam board my mom had). it works great. then for the cards I just used word and made my own (:

edit: but if you dont want them to look ghetto...you should by them from CC :D

Where?!? :?

Edit: For a slogan "Been there, done that, got the t-shirt" with a picture of Kamchatka with a number of armies on it.

A poster with the star slap bang in the middle with Conquer Club along the bottom and your fav slogan at the top, in the style of the old school Ghostbusters posters would be cool 8)

Edit: Much like such:
