This doesn't have ports or docks everywhere so that complicates things. I'm also feeling the bonuses are a bit high, but I haven't had time to try the calculator on it, and even if I did I doubt I would agree with results because the calculator can't account for the extra territory specific elements.
Hi Coleman, thanks for your post.
Let me explain.
In AoM, movement is via:
Docks to docks
Port to port and docks
and between terts on islands,
On this map, the roads act as equivalent to the sea on AoM.
Movement is via:
Spectators to venues
Goods to Venues
Venues to hospitals
and (there are bridges between the continents ) terts can move between each other via bordering or pedestrian crossings.
The bonuses were calculated in 4 stages.
1. for each tert
2. + for spectators to venues
3. + for gooods to venues
4 + for venues to hospitals
That is how the bonuses get to be so high.
But I think all those bouses will be needed if you are going to defend a continent that you manage to grab since on some continents there are one or two or more ways to attack it.
Some continents have two "ttack from" terts, but no "attack to" points.
There are only four out of thirteen continents that have venue "attack to" terts, plus six out of thirteen hospital "attack to" terts.
So it definitely is less restricitve re movement that AoM is, but you'll need those bonuses.
