19th Annual International Risk® Championship

When: October 5-7, 2007
Where: Flagstaff Resort Ballroom, Jim Thorpe, Pa.

It's the only officially sanctioned LIVE Parker Brothers Risk® tournament of its kind in the world. Test your skills against the best of the best. Duke it out for world supremecy in a fun-filled atmosphere and try to gain custody of a one-of-a-kind customized Risk® trophy that is sure to be the conversation piece in your home.

This year's tournament will have a registration limit of 210 entrants, so be sure to register early. Be warned, local hotel space will fill up fast!!!

There are a few different airports you could fly in to. Depends on the airfare and how far you are willing to drive once you land. Check out this link or go directly to the website and look under "Transportation."

Pick up at LVIA? It'd probably be easier to get a flight into Philadelphia, at the rate LVIA loses it's flights pretty soon it'll just be an international airport.

I like Jim Thorpe, when I was a little kid my parents always took my sister and I up to ride in the trains every Easter and see the Easter Bunny.

Hmmm...a live net broadcast would be cool. Although, I dont' think it's a Conquer Club vs. RiskTOC thing. As far as I know, CC'ers play at RiskTOC and RiskTOC players play on CC.

What I can tell you, is that it is my sole intention to kick azz regardless of who you are or where you play.

If you can get a great deal to LVIA, it is only a 40 minute drive or better depending on traffic.

If you fly to Philadelphia, your looking at a short ride down I-95 South (Approx 6 miles) then a straight shot north on the PA turnpike 476 North to our location. Approx 2 hrs

Newark Airport in New Jersey can also be cheap but your looking at a more difficult drive to our location compared to the others listed.

If your a GUNG-HO driver and like a challenge

then JFK in NY is your choice but that is too far in my opinion. But hey if you can nail down a $75 round trip to JFK then go for it. PS: If you find one please PM me.

If you're really interested in going and would need a hotel room, talk to me (or perhaps JR if he was serious). I'm within an hour of there and I plan on going, so you'd have a ride as well.

I live close to jim thr. u could fly into wilkes barre/scranton airport.theres alot of hotels here and its about 1 to 1 and half hours away from jim th.
