As for why pikachu and pokemon are always related... because pikachu is a pokemon dumbass. if you name your clan after a pokemon there is going to be an obvious connecion to pokemon. arbetros you're a dumbass.

Arbetros, eh. Pikachu's popularity is the very reason why he shouldn't always be associated with Pokemon. He's become a pop icon of his own -- I personally can't separate him from Smash Bros., since I haven't played a Pokemon game or seen the show in 4 years. Is Jesus inseparable from Christianity (not the Savior Jesus, the man)? If you say yes quite a few Muslims would be ready to argue with you that he is nothing more than a prophet.
