List of good new PC games?

Post by salr15 »

I haven't played PC games in awhile so I wanted to see what's the new hot games out?

I used to play Counter Strike alot and I also like Sims games, anyone ever play Simsgolf, where you build golf courses and get rated based on people reactions to the course. Also the game where you build a city, forget the name..

So what's the hot new games out? Not a big fan of fantasy/RPG games ie diablo or warcraft.

Does it have to be new? If not, I recommend Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.

It was called SimCity.

Seems you like simulations - maybe try The Movies.

Medieval Total War 2 or the expansion, Kingdoms. Really good games.

Adrian: Yeah. Beethoven was deaf. Helen Keller was blind. I think Rocky's got a good chance.

You are so mean!

Some good games to try would be F.E.A.R. (though your computer really does have to be top shelf for it to run smoothly), Half-Life 2, and the new Sam & Max series to name a few

I love the real-time stategy games myself.

I play "Rise of nations" online all the time, although it is about 4-5 years old.

I would say the ENTIRE Total War series, especially Rome (and it's expansion packs) and Medieval 2 (haven't played the expansion yet, but I just purchased it). All of the are great games, they involve managing cities, armies, and battlefields. But a more classic RTS would have to be StarCraft and it's expansion, Brood War. Classic games, and incredibly fun to play! :D

PC games arn't good anymore.

Go for the classics if you want to PC game, or get emulators and play old nintendo games.

I tried to find a working copy of R-Type for a ZX Spectrum emulator, but the copy I have won't go beyond the first level. I don't want to play any other games, just the 1989 Spectrum version of R-Type. Can anyone help?

How good is your PC? Is it AMD, Intell, what's the graphics card? Tell me that and I can recommend the best games for your PC.

Bigs Rigs doesn't require a fancy graphics card, and maybe not even a computer! :D

I hear you can get it to play on your standard TI-12 calculator without a drop in graphics or audio quality.

As if that were possible.

duke if you had a good card you would realize that the graphics in WoW don't have to be shit, they just can be if you don't have a good card. And he already mentioned he doesn't like RPGs.
