Lack, what's the point of winning? Is it to get more attention to the site so we get more players in?
I voted for CC because it's free, the dude that runs it is awesome, and I've been around since the start to see it grow and I've never had any complaints about the game. Conquer Club succeeds at providing Risk in a digital format but then goes the extra mile with ranks, extra maps, live chat and all that lot. It's great, and out of the list it is the one I love the most.
I looked through the list and saw some great games like Project Entropia and EVE online, but I've never played those so I wouldn't know how well they went. I have played RuneScape (I've been playing it on and off since I was 9), but they just permamuted me for talking about another site ingame so that kinda sucks.
If I was voting objectively for the best MMOG, I would choose
Project Entropia, though, because it has space stations and guns and mining and best of all the currency in the game can be exchanged for real life money, so the richer you are in the game, the richer you are in real life. Plus you've got the success stories about dudes who bought islands for 25,000 USD and then six months later from real estate and hunting taxes and mining taxes they have got their money back and in another six months their profits have doubled and it sounds like awesome in liquid form.
Still, <3 Conquer Club.
