optimus prime is your man as they say if you want something done ask a busy man and when it comes to organising tournys nobody is busier
or better.
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

Have to agree with rebelman. Optimus is the go to guy for tourneys.

If he is too busy though, I can lend a hand, cairnswk. :)

Send me a PM cairnswk and let me know what you are thinking and I'll see if I can fit it into my schedule.

I am willing to help you out if need be, Prime. Depends on how "large" cairnswk envisions this.

I'll keep that in mind. I figure I'll sort it out as soon as he sends me a PM.

If it's nothing too crazy I should be able to handle it. It all depends on the format he is looking for and how long it will take for me to create the spreadsheet to make it efficient.

You don't want to send hundreds of PMs? Why ever not? I'm not kidding when I say it will be hundreds. Several hundreds actually.

How's this for a teaser then? 720 players, 4 Divisions. Start spreading the word that it is coming!

holy shit!!!!!!! that will take forever to fill but it will be fun, i hope. the only problems that might occur is if there is even 700 players that participate in tournies, how many of those will follow through with it all, when games end and the lenght of the tourny. but if these arnt problems and it starts to run, it will be a blast

I will need tons of help recruiting players, and we'll be sending out tons of PMs to non-premium players.

Holy G-Bus that's insanity! Yeah when you do this I envision recruiting clans to recruit and scout for ya, it will definitely take a lot of work. That honestly sounds like too many players to me, If you can't cut it in half. What's the largest tourney ever ran on here thus far?

I don't mind sending out PM's to non-prems.

I know a few.

So if you ever want me to send PM's, I'll do it. Just make sure it's before 2 weeks.

OK gentlemen...i have PMed Lackattack to seek approval for such a large tourny.

I'd appreciate it if you would keep the rest of the details quiet until such time as we get organised and can go ahead i.e. approval.

I appreciate your broadcasting the general message about a large tournament coming up, but i dont want us to mush up with egg on our faces. :)

Wise words one obvious concern with a tourny this big is it will attract a lot of multis, this happened in the past and it could easily happen again.
