Glad you're enjoying it...however looking at the beasts who are left, this is going to be a bloody competitive round.

Important Update!

From now on, if there is a tie situation in a group, such as 1st/2nd place playoff's, 1st/2nd/3rd place playoffs or 2nd/3rd place playoff's, no playoff shall be played, but the order that you finish in the "firm clash" shall decide the orderings.

For instance, me and ultraman (6.57 crew v Triangle SF) played a 1st 2nd place playoff, as we were level on points. In our case he would have been top, as he had finished in a higher position in the firm clash than I did....but as luck had it, he beat me in the playoff anyway.

I have introduced this, to add extra incentive to the firm clash game, and it will also slightly eliminate some of the "tactical elimination" factors.

Norse, that's a sucky update..lol..

I'm going to be away from next tuesday - friday..which means I will not be joining any more games until next friday.

Just letting you know early. If this means I have to forfeit, well, there's nothing I can do about that.

That's fine. Thanks for the advance warning, it will not mean you forfeit, but the round will take a little longer, though, I'm sure it won't with your activity.

I can babysit your second round of tournament

. We are sharing the same home map, incidentally. I learned a lot from second game against you, so I'm not going to make foolish mistakes (any more)

And I'm good in 4p games, had 100% winning record (6/6) before this tournament!

What, so I've turned a blind eye to your impatient and sarcastic comments in the past...but the last thing I want to hear is "how sucky my tourney is" considering the fact that the grand majority would probably agree that it is the best way of dealing with level-pointers.

I admit, maybe I should have thought through about these eventualities before hand, but If you have a problem with it, I'm sure there will plenty others willing to take your second round spot.

Sorry Norse I think your tourny is great, what i meant to say was that I prefered the pre-update position decider. Not asking you to change it just sayin'

Well, I think this will be an enhancer to the tourney.

It is not likely people will finish level on points, but it puts more emphasis on playing to win the firm clash, instead of playing to KO a certain person from the firm clash.

I will be honest now, when I say that come the firm clash in my group, the only person that stood in my way was ghengis khant...and I suicided my troops on him, knowing full well that one of the others would finish us both off....that aint cricket.

There wil still be some tactical play, but slightly more sophisticated.

Im sure you will all rise to the challenge.

Sorry to my group for missing a turn the in the firm clash (a temporary football banning order was served). But I think I still qualified for the next round - when does it all "kick off" Norse?
