nope, i didn't know that.

as for the map, i think you could use a better symbol for the subway. a the moment, as someone mentioned, they look like mine entrances or something.

for example, here's the nagoya symbol

also, the legend could be moved up to make more room for the dot and subway explanations.

That explains your...unbridled enthusiasm. It looks nice right now, though.

Dots should just be lines. Right now its hard to find the corresponding dot.

Continents are unclear. Clarify with more varied colors.

could you change the "the same color dots can attack...." text to either a different color or a different location?

Because right now they are the same color as the country names, and i think it would just be a bit easier if it was different, or at least seperate from the actual map countries.

Your army circle don't do anything.
Try to do it like this.

It looks okay but,
1. The reason for army circles is to make armies easier to see. The shrine may make them harder to see.
2. When place on all of the territories it will likey make the map look crowed, exspecially on the small map.

i think you need to change the background images. as someone said, this is supposed to be modern japan, not ye olde japan.

maybe one of these, instead of the sword

and this guy, instead of the samurai

Please don't put the honda robot on your map. And did you download the PSD file and look or even use that layer? You know, it's kind of late in the game, but if you lighten your territory colors a bit, you don't need army circles. I started out using them with Italy, but took em' away and liked the map better.

1. Some of your territories are reall small, I don't know how you are going to get armies and names to fit in there.
2. There are too many purple/pinkish colors, can you change some.
3. How is Hokkaido connect to anything?

Very true. This should be changed for sure. And looking at the legend, I can't connect the colors there to the territories.
