newbie questions

Post by 4jacks »

Hello, I'm a Newbie, as you can obviously tell from my wise choice of thread titles.

Also I have questions :roll:

FYI, I did a search, and the found php search functions to be quite lacking... okay here we go

1) How do the points work? How many does person A get for beating person B?

2) What is this bit with people playing two player freestlye games and being shady by using the clock? I joined such a game, round one went really quick, I ended it. I keep hitting refresh but the dude must of went to bed. I can take my turn after 12 hours, regardless of what he does right? no?

3) Is there a way to "Surrender"... It would be really nice, for those of us who can only play 4 games.

4) Is there a way to tell if other players are online?

Thanks !!! :D

1) Conquer Club players are initially given a score of 1000. At the end of each game, the winner takes points away from each loser. The points to be awarded is calculated as (loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent.

2) some time ago a player could force another player to miss a turn if he took his a few seconds before the time runs out. now you can take your turn after 12 hours regardless of what the other guy does.

3) nope no surrender button.

4) click here

At the end of each game, the game log will tell you how many points were won/lost

no, because peoples points are constantly changing, there is no exact way to find out. However, you can just use the formula given above and manually find out how many points you will win/lose

so

Points = Score ??

I kinda thought one was related to the game and one was given to each person?
