Battle Royale means each player gets a single territory remember they used to play battle royale on classic, 47 territories

Classic has 42 terrs - so, that's how small it could be.
There are 32 Entrant slots - meaning there would be 16 Advancers, and then 8 Elite Eights, and then 4 Semi Finalists, and finally 2 Finalists
I think you misunderstood max's post (actually he posted it incorrectly). What he meant was that you needed both Blue E1 and Blue E8 (or Both Red A2 and Red A3) to move on.
With what max actually posted no one would ever move on - there are no connections between any of the 1s and 2s.
PS: I think this map is on Vacation (needs to be put in the title).

Version 13
Changes Did some cleaning, most probably won't notice it.
Changed leader boxes as per bspride's suggestion.
Changed the Final Boxes a little, not sure I like it.
Tried a bunch of backgrounds, couldn't get any of them to look good, tried to gray the white slightly and even that looked bad so it is still white for now. Large:
Small:

I don't really like the new font colour for the final boxes.
As for the backgorund, i haven't got a clue what would work, but i imagine it would have to be faded a lot.

i actually think a conquer club star that is faded would work nicely in background...and i think font color in boxes makes it easier to play.

Yeah, that would and it would be nice if you could center the star at the finals

Background is 100% better than the white, but I don't know if I like the map as a whole. I'll just keep watching to see what happens.

I'm not above abandoning this you know if I think I'm the only one that likes it. But some other great maps went a long way with only one person commenting for a few weeks.
Also, I'm now mildly inspired to change my avvy to Tony the Tiger after that. Then I can be like, "check out my map it's Grrrreat" and quote Marv if anyone disagrees with me.

I understand very well... Just to make clear I was being serious about the broken record... Im sincerely impressed.
Although my opinion about this map can be resumed in 2 words, its up to you finish it... Well, I think you can even quench it by yourself, cant you?

I wanted to post last night - but couldn't login - then forgot...
I like the new background - however I think the Final boxes font is a bit blurry!!!

Having looked back over my topic I've had 18 positive contributors, 3 that could be taken either way and 2 negative counting Marv.
So I don't see abandonment in this map's future. It should be noted that I can't forge or quench maps. So this map progressing is up to Andy logistically and if I could forge or quench maps I wouldn't do so with my own and cairnswk moved this out of map ideas back when he was moderator.

Well.. I don't like the star background. The more I look at it, the more I prefer the white. Sorry.

I like the star - also, chalk up more positive feedback for the map - I'm always interested in differing victory conditions as they spice up gameplay, so I'd like to see how this one is likely to play out...

If you notice the conquerer rank star (the one I used) has a light shining from the top.
This grows much more noticeable when enlarged:
And that was the star I used. If I could figure out how to 'correct' it I guess I would.

cool, i never noticed that before. i think it looks good with the star in the back, makes it less bland
