So, who's gonna watch it? I do hope you can't wait to see Lyra and Iorek in action, if you read at least the first one.

Iofur? He is very shady in the background, and beside fighting Irorek, he doesn't do much, I wouldn't call him important to the story.fireedud wrote:actually 2 are: Iorek (he rocks!!) and that other dud he had to fight to get his throne back.freezie wrote:Nobunaga wrote:... What's with the bears?

Ermm..Only 1 bear is important..The rest, somewhat, but beside beeing the best fighters in the books...

Second: so what?
I am laughing so much at the christian's criticism: first they criticise it for being anti-church then the people who made the movie told them that they watered it down and so the christians are attacking and I swear I'm not making this up: that it will be so good the children will want to read the books and the parents will buy the books not knowing![]()

He is imporatant, without him taking the throne, Lyra would have never met Iorek.freezie wrote:Iofur? Then again, fate made it, because of the prophecy and such..Therefor, they were ment to met. So the character os iofur is less important. Still is, but compared to Iorek, especially if you look at the trilogy as a whole.
