i wonder how many more heisman trophy winners we will get in the future from teams that have as many losses as florida did this year.

Having said that, i dont think from midseason on there was really another threat other than dixon, and that might have been a maybe at best.

If Dixon didn't get hurt, I'm pretty sure he would have won it. That's all anyone was talking about at that point of the season. He was on track to have a heck of a year over there in the Pac-10.

I honestly would have been somewhat upset if Darren McFadden had won it, but I was okay with either Tim Tebow or Colt Brennan winning it.

i dont know, i feel like dixons stats wouldnt have looked great against tebows by the end of the year, and he probably would have lost a game or two down the stretch which would have put him at about the same place as tebow.

I think the tebow was adored a bit too much to lose essentially an even race with a pac 10 player.

I think Dixon had it locked up if he didnt get hurt. But Tebow definatley deserved it tonight. 20 TDs rushing and passing? i don't care if hes a sophmore.

But yes, Tebow did deserve it the most. I thought it was dumb that people wanted him to lose because of his age.

It'll be amazing to see him play next year with all those weapons and another sweet Florida Freshman class.

Congrats Tebow, glad you won it, although I wouldn't have cared if McFadden beat ya. Now, go back to school for your junior year and then get drafted by the 49ers!

I don't think the 49er's are going to draft Tim Tebow when he comes available, but we'll see.

1. tebow will not be in the nfl next year, is not ready.

2. miami would not take him, they just drafted beck who they like.

3. tebow will not be an effective nfl QB, hes a monster yes, but all season there may have been 1 time he was asked to win a game with his arm.

that all being said he deserved the heisman, as hes season was that out of NCAA 08, 51 tds, 22 rushing, its absurd!
